Bench and incline same day. I just do flat incline benches didn t do much for me so i dropped it after a while. Yes that adds up to 110 because that s what you should be giving it. Hey yall i ve flat benched and incline benched during the same chest day for years now but now i feel like i should separate the 2 lifts into 2 separate chest days. You re already warmed up for the assistance and it is a round about way to sneak in pseudo volume with the main press assistance loosely mimics bench assistance adds some hypertrophy work and acts as insurance against de training in the event of missing the next lifting session.
I m a fan of doing press bench assistance or bench press assistance on the same day. Just make it work for you. I usually do 4x6 flat 3x6 inc 3x6 dec 3x10 flyes. I did flat db and incline bb on the same day for some time with excellent results.

Do some sets on the low 15 degree incline others at the moderate 30 degree incline and some as high as 45 degrees. Incline bench press same day as flat bench. Find what you like and switch it up.

No one ever said that the flat bench incline and decline were the only angles you were restricted to using to fully develop your chest. If your new to wl might be a good idea to just start with with the typical flat benching initally. I was thinking of moving the oh press to the upper hyper day but i also want to work the oh press for a lower rep range like 4 6 reps and that wouldn t fit in the upper hyper day. However the day dedicated to upper strength has bench and oh press on the same day and i was wondering if one lift affects the other.
